Louis “Craig” Koett went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald L. Koett and Virginia Clawson Koett; and brother, James Koett. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Koett. Family members also include Barbara’s three children, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; Rita Koett wife of James; nephews, Steven and Michael, and their children and grandchildren.
Craig had sixteen years of Catholic education graduating from St. Gerard High School in 1963 and four years graduating from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Craig was a true patriot serving his country in the United States Army. He was drafted for 2 years after college into the US Army and came out as a Spec E-5.
Craig was an educator, serving as a High School English teacher at St. Gerard. He then entered the corporate world and ended his career as pastoral administrator from Holy Trinity Catholic Church from May of 2002 to January 2013.
He was a wonderful husband, grandfather, and friend to many. Craig will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
