Lucy Martinez Flores

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Lucy M. Flores, age 93, who peacefully entered eternal rest on August 3, 2026.

Lucy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Francisco Martinez and Maria Eusebia Martinez; her devoted husband, Jose Flores; her daughter, Yolanda Martinez; her son, Joe Flores Jr.; her grandsons, Jaime Flores Jr. and Pedro Angel Flores; and her siblings, Juan Martinez, Dolores Martinez, Pablo Martinez, Antonia Mendez, Josepha Sandoval, and Maria Gloria.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her children: Gilbert Flores, Rosemary Flores, Leticia Munoz and (husband) Frank Munoz, Jamie Flores and (wife) Blanca Zamarron Flores, and Francisco Flores and a sister Janie Ayala. Lucy was also blessed with 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Lucy found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved browsing thrift stores and garage sales, trying her luck at the casinos, and traveling with her family to make lasting memories. She had a special gift for gardening and took great pride in caring for her plants, which flourished under her loving hands.

Above all, Lucy was a compassionate and generous woman. She often collected clothing and other necessities to take to families in need in Mexico, quietly sharing her blessings with others and making a meaningful difference in many lives. Her kindness, selflessness, and caring spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lucy leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, faith, and devotion to her family. While her presence will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who have gone before her. She will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
