Mandy Michelle Lake

Mandy Simpson Lake, age 54 of Hampton, Georgia, went to be with her Lord August 10, 2026. She was born July 25, 1972, in East Point, Georgia. Mandy was a devoted Christian, affectionately known as "God’s Girl" after accepting Jesus as her personal Savior. She loved to reach out to others with messages of God's love, which was reflected in her caring personality.

She battled Crohn’s Disease since she was 16 but remained resilient, choosing a positive outlook and dedicating herself to her family and community. A graduate of Jonesboro High School, she worked at the Industrial Clinic in Hapeville and later at Eagles Landing Family Practice. Mandy was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, known for her dedication and kindness.

She is survived by her husband Shaun Lake; daughter Katie Lake; her parents Marty and Patricia Simpson; sister Penny (Jeff) Williams; brother Shane Simpson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mandy was predeceased by her sister Wendy Simpson Perry and her great-nephew Bryson Tucker Perry.

A visitation will be held on August 15, 2026, at Haisten Funeral Home, with the funeral service on August 16, 2026. Interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Mandy wished donations be made to the Church of God Building Fund in her memory.
