Manuel Cabral Braga, aged 88, passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2026.
Manuel was born on the island of Santa Maria on August 17th, 1937. He and his wife, Maria Carvalho Braga, immigrated to Massachusetts in 1963, with their infant daughter, Maria.
He is remembered as someone who enjoyed gardening and for being dedicated to providing a good life for his wife and kids.
He leaves behind his wife Maria with his three sons, Antonio, Daniel, David and his daughter Elizabeth. He is survived by his five grandchildren, Jonathon, Serena, Joshua, Evan and Caitlin, along with his great-grandson Benjamin. He is preceded in death by his daughter Maria, his grandson Jeff and three of his siblings.
His memorial service will take place at Kays Ponger Uselton Funeral Home along with a mass at Saint Francis of Assisi located in Englewood.
