Biography
Marc Plourde, born in 1940, passed away at the age of 85 on July 6, 2026, at CHSLD La Sarre.He was the son of the late Léo Plourde and Rose-Amande Mainville, and the husband of Nicole Labranche.He is survived by his children: the late Bernard, Richard (Diane Jacques), Dominique (Marilyne Audet), and Pascal (Marie-Ève Deshaies),and his grandchildren: Camille, Benoit (Sophie), Gaël, Zoé, Félix, and Xavier.He also leaves his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
The family expresses their gratitude to the staff at Foyer Saint-André and the support provided during his stay.
Condolences can be made through donations to the Fondation du Dr Jacques Paradis.
His wake will be held at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Abitibi, with the funeral service scheduled for August 15, 2026, at 10:30 am at Église Saint-André de La Sarre.
