Marcel Bélanger passed away in Sherbrooke on June 13, 2026, at the age of 90. He was the husband of the late Édith Garon and resided in Coaticook.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at the Charron funeral complex on Sunday, June 28, from 9 am to 11 am. A farewell ceremony will be held at 11 am at the Charron Memorial. Interment will take place at St-Edmond cemetery on Monday, June 29, at 1 pm.
He leaves behind his children: Martine (Carmel Imbeault), France (Steve Paxton), and Éric (Sonia Lavoie). His grandchildren: Alexandre Imbeault (Geneviève Langlais), Émilie Imbeault (Christopher Roy), and Andréa Lafrenière (Alex Drouin). His great-grandchildren: Thomas, Emma, Félix, Liam, Charlotte, and Victoria. He also leaves his brothers and sisters: René, Ginette (Bernard), Réal (France), and Michel (Lysette), as well as the late Hélène (Marc) and Fernand (Madeleine), and brother-in-law Gilles (Lydia). Many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also mourn his loss.
