It is with regret that we inform you of the death of Monsieur Marcel Poirier, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 86. He was the husband of Madame Denise Mathon and the son of the late Aubin Poirier and the late Eva Poirier.
Besides his wife, he leaves behind his children Serge (Line), Martin (Claudy), his grandchildren Marc, Serge, Claude-François, Lorie, and Liane. He also leaves his brothers Paul and Charles, and his sister Gertrude (Yvon), along with many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond and his sisters Bernadette and Rita.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 1369, boul. La Vérendrye Ouest in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences starting at 1:15 PM.
