Our beloved mother, Maria De Jesus Mora, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2026. Today, we gather with heavy hearts, but also with love and cherished memories, to honor the life of our beloved mother. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her strength, kindness, and loving spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her children: Vittorio, Aracely, Maria Del Carmen, John, Joe, Martha Veronica, Teresita De Jesus, Maria Concepcion, Maria Rosario, Francesco Michael, Charles, Karen, Anthony, and Jennifer; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and many other beloved family members. Her faith was an important part of her life. She faithfully attended church and found great joy in worshipping the Lord. Her unwavering faith gave her strength, guided her through life’s challenges, and was a beautiful reflection of the woman she was.
Maria De Jesus Mora lived a life rooted in deep faith, bright joy, and unconditional love. Her warm smile made everyone feel welcome, and her generous spirit made those around her feel deeply loved and cared for. Her life reflected the love of Jesus Christ—not only through her faith, but through the way she lived each day. She brought the teachings of our Lord into her home and into the lives of everyone she touched, always sharing her love with a sincere and joyful heart.
Mom found happiness in the simple blessings of life: cooking big meals for her family, knitting, gardening, dancing, and, most of all, singing. Yet her greatest joy was her family. She gave of herself freely and generously, loving without condition and making sure those she cherished always felt cared for.
Her faith, her joy, and her loving heart will remain a beautiful part of her legacy, carried on in all those who were blessed to know and love her.
Each of her children and grandchildren carries a part of Mom within them. She raised her family with love, devotion, and strong values, continually lifting her home and those she loved in praise and prayer to God. The lessons she taught us and the example she set will continue to guide our family for generations to come.
Maria De Jesus Mora was a beautiful reflection of God’s love to everyone blessed to know her. Her faith, her joy, and the way she cared for others left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of her family and all who knew her. Through the wisdom she shared, the joy she brought, and the countless memories she created, her presence will remain with us.
All fourteen of her children, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will forever cherish the woman she was. Her life was a blessing, her love was a gift, and her legacy will live on through every generation that carries her name, her faith, and the values she so lovingly instilled in us.
We will always remember Mom dressed in the beautiful colors she loved to wear to church, surrounded by the people who meant the most to her. These precious images of her - her joyful spirit, her faith, and her family gathered around her- will remain close to our hearts and bring comfort as we celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
Though we will miss her deeply, her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the generations yet to come. The love she gave so freely, the faith she lived by, and the countless memories we shared will forever remain a part of who we are. Her memory will forever be a blessing, and she will always hold a cherished and special place in our hearts.
Maria De Jesus Mora—your love lives within us, and your light will continue to shine through us forever. We carry in our hearts your beautiful saying: “A tree that grew beautifully from just a small twig.” That is rooted in love, strengthened by faith, and nourished by the legacy she leaves behind. It is a beautiful reflection of the life you built—a life rooted in love, strengthened by faith, and carried forward through every generation. Your small branch became a mighty tree, and we are forever grateful to be part of it.
With all of our love, Mom
