Marilyn Bohl, age 80, passed away on June 2, 2026, in the presence of her loving husband of 59 years, Gordon.

Born on August 16, 1945, to Gustov Beck and Irma Kosik, Marilyn lived a life defined by compassion, adventure, service, and devotion to family. She is survived by her beloved husband Gordon Bohl; her brother, Kenneth Beck, and his wife, Pauline (Lapinsky); her sons, Douglas Bohl and his wife, Coreen (Zunner), and David Bohl and his wife, Cathy (Willenborg); and her cherished grandchildren, Bailey, Noah, Mac, and Hailey. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.

Marilyn graduated from W.R. Bishop School of Nursing in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, in 1966 and began a distinguished career as a surgical nurse. Together with Gordon, she embraced the adventure of relocating to numerous communities across the East Coast, Midwest, and Florida. Wherever life took them, Marilyn continued her nursing career, providing skilled and compassionate care to countless patients until her retirement in 2010.

A loving and gentle woman, Marilyn found great joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid cross-stitcher, enjoyed hiking, and loved seeing the world from the deck of a cruise ship. Her warmth and sense of adventure enriched every chapter of her life.

Marilyn quietly offered life-changing support to many individuals during times of personal struggle. Through her kindness, wisdom, and willingness to help others, she built lasting friendships that endured for over 48 years and left an immeasurable impact on countless lives.
