Martha "Mot" Irvin - a 94 year-old native of Kosciusko, Mississippi, longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama, and current resident of Saraland passed away at home on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
Mrs. Irvin was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Marvin Irvin. She is survived by her children, Marty Irvin (Angie) and Sarah Helton; grandchildren, Ashton Hill (Trevor), Tyler Irvin, Matthew Helton (Caitlin), and Meghan Farrell Aubrey; great-grandson, Harrison Helton; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from Creekwood Church of Christ on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 12 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Creekwood Church of Christ, 1901 Schillinger Road South, Mobile, Alabama 36695.
