Marty Mishler

Marty Mishler, 74, of Gahanna, passed away on June 4, 2026. She was born on February 17, 1952, in Findlay Ohio, to the late John and Margaret (Gault) Scrafford. Marty was an avid reader and enjoyed a variety of genres. She also enjoyed traveling to different wool shows that provided her with a plethora of yarn for her and her knitting. In addition, Marty was known for her collection of Christmas ornaments and decorations, cross stitching, and her basket collection. Marty graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School class of 1970. After high school Marty started her 38 year career at Lazarus Department Store and soon met her husband Steve and many lifelong friends. After Lazarus, Marty enjoyed working at Flying Horse Farms for 10 years and being a part of a team which provided services for children with serious illnesses. In retirement, Marty enjoyed spending time at 614 Knit Studio and sharing moments with Steve and friends, and their two cats Alice and Stanley. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Steve; and her sister, Pam (Dave) Harrold, brother-in-law Todd and Shelly Mishler along with many nieces and nephews.
