Mary Evelyn Fisher (née Blaylock), 93, of Bartlett, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at The King’s Daughters and Sons Home.

She was born in Haywood County, TN, and grew up near Maury City. She attended Crockett County High School and was a member of the women's basketball team that won the county championship in 1950.

After graduating, she married Robert Winfred “Wink” Fisher, and they moved to Memphis in 1957, remaining married for 67 years until Wink's passing in 2017.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked as a church secretary, for the IRS, and was active in her church and Sunday school.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Lester Joe Blaylock Jr., and sisters Juanita Crossnoe and Augusta Maynard.

She is survived by her daughters Judy Hogan and Ginger Abberger, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens on June 4, 2026, with visitation at 9 AM and service at 10 AM.
