Mary Kay Harber passed on May 1, 2026, at the age of 81.
Mary Kay was born on December 9, 1944, in Wichita, KS, grew up in Orlando, FL and currently was a resident of Kansas City, Missouri. Mary Kay was the daughter of Donald Eugene and Mary Edith (Salisbury) Horton.
Mary Kay was an artist, painter, sculptor, master diver, a cowgirl and world traveler.
In addition to her parents, Mary Kay was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Horton; and husband, Jim Harber.
Mary Kay is survived by a son, Travis E. Hrabak and wife, Heather; a sister, Donna Parker; and brother, Mike Horton.
At Mary Kay's request, there will be no service. Donations may be made to the Women Divers Hall of Fame, www.wdhof.org.
