Mary Louise Cantoni, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. She was born on September 1, 1946 in Byrnedale, PA. A daughter of the late Anthony and Elvera (Micale) Krizamanich.
Mary was a dedicated registered nurse. She graduated from St. Vincent's nursing program in Erie, PA.
Mary moved to Las Vegas with her late husband Richard N. Cantoni. Mary is survived by her younger sister Kathy Strycula of Emporium, PA, close friends, and her children, Tina (Brice) Ladson, of Richmond Hill, GA, Brian Scott, of Pittsburgh, PA, and Jeffrey (Rebecca) Scott, of Las Vegas, NV; and her two grandchildren, Nicole and Ryan Scott.
The family would like to thank Silverado Memory Care Red Rock and Compassion Care Hospice of Las Vegas, NV who provided excellent care following Mary's Alzheimer's diagnosis.
The family would like to honor Mary's love of dogs by asking for donations to the Nevada SPCA in lieu of flowers.
The immediate family will gather for a small celebration of life.
