Mary Williams was born June 16, 1939, and was the youngest of 10 Children born to Nora and James Harvey in Otay, California. She grew up attending Apostolic faith temple church.

Where she song in the choir and was on the usher board. Mary graduated from Chula Vista High School. In 1957 Mary Married George Steward (who preceded her in death). To this union was born three children Tina Marie, Yolanda Jean, and Jarvis Eugene Steward. In 1980 Mary Married Elihue Williams (who preceded her in death.) Mary was an awesome seamstress, and enjoyed fishing, and bowling.

Mary enjoyed learning, she attended Educational Culture Complex (San Diego Community College campus) in San Diego City and obtain a certificate in electronics. Mary attended Aenon Bible College and graduated with a teacher Certificate in Christian studies. Mary also took classes and became a certified notary.

Mary rededicated her life to the Lord in 1992 in Kansas City Missouri under the Pastorship of District Elder Clarence Johnson. Where she faithfully attended church working diligently for many years as the Usher board President. Mary became known as the cookie lady at church; she would always have a batch of cookie to sale as a fun-raiser. Until the church dissolved.

Mary known as Sister Williams was a soft spoken, gentle and lovable and deeply spiritual Mother in the church, Mary lived out her life serving the Lord with Dedication to God and the Church.

On the morning of June 5, Mary closed her eye one last time to all the pain, suffering, and gained her heavenly wings, and went home to be with the Lord, she may be gone but never forgotten. She will forever live on-in our lives. And continue to watch over us from above.

Mary leaves many family members and friends to mourn her.
