Massiah Makhi Stokes transitioned on April 14, 2026, at the age of 3, having been born on June 21, 2022, and residing in New Iberia, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church 11200 Old Jeanerette Road Jeanerette, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Judea Shandell Stokes and his mother, Aaliyah Deshawn Williams; his paternal grandparents, Glenn and Kathleen Stokes of New Iberia, Louisiana; maternal great grandmother, Gladys Montgomery; along with a host of family and friends.
Massiah was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Tina Marie Cormier Smith and his paternal great grandfather, Cornelius King, Sr.; paternal great grandparents, Beulah Stokes and Willie Stokes.
