Maurice Lalancette

He was surrounded by the love of his family at the Chicoutimi Hospital at the age of 92 years and 9 months. Maurice Lalancette, husband of the late Mme Odette Blouin, resided in Chicoutimi. He was the son of the late Mme Laurette Gagnon and the late M. Patrick Lalancette. Maurice was a man of public life, beloved by all with his beautiful smile. He left behind many family members including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as siblings, companions, godchildren, and friends. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at the Chapel of the Chicoutimi Funeral Home. His family thanks the staff at the Chicoutimi Hospital for their care. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
