Michael Jude Feske of Henderson, Nv. passed away unexpectedly while working in
Telluride Co. on September 15, 2026, from a hemorrhagic stroke at the young age of 69.
He was born on January 11,1957 in Gunnison, Colorado. Growing up he lived in Colorado
and Louisiana, but Colorado was always where he liked to be, he loved the mountains,
trees and greenery. If you had a question about Colorado Mike would know the answer,
from the smallest ghost towns, the biggest cities or the off-road mountain trails. Colorado
was part of his soul.
Mike’s profession was construction which he began learning in his early 20’s and took a
liking to finish trim carpentry. He had his own business “Feske Construction” and worked in
construction for almost 50 years. His knowledge of construction was vast, and he had the
ability to do whatever was needed. He wasn’t just a finish trim carpenter, he was an artist
with wood, creating many unbelievable works that exist today in many million-dollar
homes.
In 1988 Mike came to Las Vegas Nevada to look for work which caused a life-changing
event. In a bar called Roxy’s he met the love of his life Cyndee, and an instant family was
born. In 1995 he took his family to Colorado where they lived for 20 of their 38 years
together. Mike was a loving caring man and his greatest joys in life were his wife, his five
kids, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mike’s interests included canoeing, off roading, camping, shooting pool, country swing
dancing, bowling, doing trivia quizzes on his phone and crossword puzzles with his wife. He
loved westerns, especially ones with John Wayne. His favorite sport was football and was a
Denver Bronco fan his whole life. One of his favorite pastimes was watching football while
drinking Bud Lite.
Mike is survived by his wife Cyndee, children Candice, Erika, James, Georgianna and David,
eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Siblings Misty, Cheree, Cindy and
brother-in-law Keith.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Christopher, Nephew Joseph, Mother Patricia,
Father William, Mother-in-law Dee Gee and Father-in-law Joseph.
