Michael Wilansky

Peacefully, on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Devoted husband of Marion Roth for 64 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Lorne Wilansky and Mindy Goldberg, and Robin Wilansky and Louis Wilk. Beloved Baba and Grandpa of Michael Wilk and Michelle Rubin, Allyn, and Jenna Wilansky. Son of the late Joseph and the late Freda Wilansky; and son-in-law of the late Morris and the late Myrna Roth. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Esther Wilansky and the late Norman Feldman; and brother-in-law of Sheila Roth Berger. Michael will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to his caregivers, Monsie, Dory, Carmen, Ligaya, and Michelle, for their wonderful care and compassion, as well as to the staff at 3 North Maimonides and Dr. Greenberg for their care and support.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, October 18 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his son Lorne’s home. Donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
