It is with regret that we announce the death of Madame Micheline Philie Lafontaine, who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 79. She was the wife of Monsieur Émile Lafontaine and the daughter of the late Maurice Philie and the late Paulette Laporte.
Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her children Claude Lafontaine (Manon Thériault) and Jacques Lafontaine (Nadia Deland), her grandchildren Laurie-Anne, Élodie, Philippe, Renaud, Jacob, Emmanuelle, and Adamo. She also leaves her sisters Lise and Claire, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers Richard, Pierre, Denis, and her sister Hélène.
A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the COOPERATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 750, boulevard Maloney Est in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences from 9:15 AM.
