Michelle Baron

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Michelle who died on July 5th at the age of 63. She was the daughter of Mr. Grégoire Baron and the late Mrs. Murielle Gagnon, and lived in Québec but spent many years in Baie-Comeau.

She leaves behind her father Grégoire, her brother Richard, her sister Nathalie (Sylvain), her nieces Julie (Jean-Philippe) and Laurie (Nicolas), along with other family and friends who had the privilege of knowing her.

Michelle was a loving woman naturally inclined to spread kindness around her. She nurtured sincere and profound love for her family, who held a special place in her heart. Throughout her life, she faced illness with admirable courage and resilience, continuing to embrace life with gentleness and kindness. We find comfort in believing that she is now free from her suffering and rests peacefully with her beloved Murielle, remaining forever in the hearts of those who continue to love her.

The family wishes to thank her great friend Guylaine, who was present throughout Michelle’s life. Her unwavering friendship, reassuring presence, and encouragement were invaluable gifts to Michelle and a great comfort to our family. We will be eternally grateful.

The family will receive condolences with the ashes at the Centre funéraire Saint-Charles, 1420, boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel, Québec G1N 3Y6 on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 10 am to 11 am. A memorial service will be held on the same day at 11:15 am.
