Mme Thérèse Imbeault, a resident of La Baie, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 89 years and 4 months on August 25, 2026, at CHSLD Foyer de Bagotville.
She was the daughter of the late Mme Léonie Dionne and the late M. Charles-Henri Imbeault. Mme Thérèse was the wife of the late M. Joseph Fortin.
Her family will receive friends and family, in the presence of her ashes, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Coopérative funéraire du Fjord, located at 1186, 2e Rue, La Baie.
The funeral will be held on the same day, Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the Église Notre-Dame de La Baie, located at 1180, 2e Rue, La Baie.
Her ashes will be entrusted to the crematorium and interred at St-Édouard Cemetery.
She leaves to mourn:
- Her children: the late Yves Fortin, Réjean (Lucie Harvey), Diane (Marcel Bolduc), and Lynda (Donald Bernier)
- Her grandchildren: Mathieu (Mia Arsenault), Pier-Luc (Audrey Perron), Catherine, and Sabrina (Marc Cardinal)
- Her great-granddaughter: Mélodie
She was the sister of: the late Pâquerette, Ghislaine (Réal Lavoie), Rénald (Irène Tremblay), Cécile (Roland Tremblay), and Maurice (Monique Dubé).
She was the sister-in-law of: Henri-Paul Fortin, Ghislain (Nicole Vaillancourt), Rhéaume, and others.
The family thanks the staff of CHSLD Foyer de Bagotville for their excellent care. Donations can be made through the volunteers at the La Baie Mobile Kitchen.
