On May 23, 2026, at the age of 85 years and 4 months, Mrs. Monique Bradette, wife of the late Mr. Maurice Lajoie, residing in Chicoutimi, passed away at the CIUSSS of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Chicoutimi Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Madame Simone Lachance and the late Monsieur Alfred Bradette.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Chicoutimi Funeral Complex. A celebration of the Word will take place on May 30, 2026, at 3:30 PM at the Chicoutimi Funeral Complex - Chapel Chicoutimi. The funeral service will be held in the same location on May 30, 2026, at 3:30 PM.

She leaves behind her children: Sylvie Lajoie (Mario Gaudreault), Marc Lajoie, and Josée Lajoie (Ghislain Lajoie); her grandchildren: François Gaudreault, Stéphany Gaudreault (Sebastien Girard), and Mélanie Guérin (Pierre-Luc Lavoie); her great-grandchildren: Flavio Rafael, Justine, Leonardo, and Constance.

Mrs. Bradette was the sister of the late Marcel Bradette (Lise Simard), Berthier (Francine Simard), Gaston (Normande Simard), Gérard (Nicole Simard), and Denise (Alain Tremblay). She was the sister-in-law of the late Jean-Eudes Lajoie (Huguette Villeneuve), the late Yvan (Rose Lacroix), the late Gaby (Bertrand Pineault), the late Réjean (Marie-Line Dubois), Serge (Dénise Corneau), and the late Linda (Benoit Gauthier). She also leaves many nephews and nieces, family, and friends.
