At the Centre d’hébergement Champlain des Montagnes, on August 28, 2026, at the age of 99, Dame Monique Plaisance, wife of the late Fernand Lortie, passed away. She lived in the Loretteville district (Quebec). She leaves behind her daughter Chantal (Jean-Guy); her grandchildren: Vincent (Junko), Sophie (Sylvain), and Maxime; her great-grandchildren: Thomas, Louis, and Simon; Justine and Sarah; Rosalie and William. She also leaves her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends in mourning.
She is reunited with her husband, her sons Gilles and Christian Lortie; her brother Michel and sister-in-law Micheline, as well as her parents.
The family expresses deep gratitude to the staff of the 3rd floor of the Centre d’hébergement Champlain des Montagnes for their dedication and the good care provided during her stay.

ValcartierLoretteville, Quebec G2A 2M6,on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1 pm to 2 pm. A Word celebration will follow in the lounge at 2 pm. The ashes will be deposited in the Loretteville cemetery at a later date.
