Mr. Fred Pinkston, age 88, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026.
Born on February 9, 1938, Mr. Pinkston lived a long and meaningful life marked by quiet strength, resilience, and devotion to his family. He will be remembered for his steady presence and the legacy he leaves behind in those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sisters, Melvina Hinson of Bonifay, Florida, and Jimmie Lee Fletcher of Rainbow City, Alabama; one cherished granddaughter; and several beloved nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.
Mr. Pinkston was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Pinkston; his parents, Henry and Lizzie Pinkston; seven brothers; and one sister.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Old Harmony Cemetery in Rainbow City, Alabama, with Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.
