​Myriam Ivette Rodriguez, 61, of New Fairfield, CT passed away, leaving behind a legacy of profound love, laughter, and resilience. She was the wife of Michael Rodriguez, Sr. Also surviving are her loving children: Christy (David) Harvey and Michael Rodriguez, Jr.; and her two beloved grandchildren.Born to Luisa Lozada and Angel Traverso (Rodriguez), Myriam was a beautiful soul whose greatest joy in life was caring for her family. She was a cherished wife, a beloved mother, a fiercely loving grandmother, and an adoring companion to her furry animals.​Myriam was the vibrant heart of her home. She took great pride in maintaining a meticulously clean and beautifully organized space, creating a warm, inviting environment where visiting family could truly relax and enjoy their time together. Renowned for hosting the absolute best holiday gatherings, she loved the season and went all out to ensure everyone was united and having a wonderful time. A true testament to her generous and welcoming spirit, Myriam always bought extra Christmas gifts to make sure any unexpected guest at her door felt included and loved.​Beyond her devotion to her family, Myriam had a deep passion for dancing. She loved nothing more than laughing and being silly with her children and grandchildren, creating joyful memories they will carry forever. Throughout her life, she was strong and remarkably resilient, fighting bravely through her ailments simply so she could continue to show up for the family she adored.​Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and loved ones, and in the gratitude of all who were touched by her kindness, resilience, and humor.
