It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Nancy on October 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. At the young age of 67, Nancy passed away following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Winnipeg, Nancy moved to Montreal with her family at the age of five, where she would go on to build her life, raise her family, and create countless cherished memories.
Daughter of the late Keith and Irene Harvey, Nancy will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 38 years, Larry South, and her three sons, Daryl, Ian, and Lewis. She is also remembered by her siblings, Brenda and David (Andrea), as well as her extended family and many dear friends.
An avid gardener, Nancy found joy tending to her flower garden and watching things grow. She was also a passionate curler who cherished the friendships, laughter, and camaraderie both on and off the ice. With her bright smile, wonderful spirit, love of fancy purses, and unmistakable personality, Nancy was truly one of a kind.
Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Her spirit will live on in the flowers she nurtured, the friendships she treasured, and the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday October 28 at Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9H 2A7, with the family receiving condolences from 11AM-1PM, service from 1PM-2PM, followed by a reception.
