Nathaniel Lee Anderson

We are here to celebrate the life of Nathaniel Lee Anderson; who was born the second of four children to Ottie Edgar and Inez Anderson who preceded him in death. As well as his older brother, Ottie Edgar Anderson Jr. and his daughter Arlana both of Aurora, CO.Nathaniel retired from 1st Trust where he was a supervisor in the mail room. At the time of his death Nathaniel worked as a host home provider for Community Support Services Inc. where he provided services and support for three developmentally disabled adults in his home and many others in the respite capacity for over 19 years.Nathaniel met and married for the third and final time in 2003, Doris B. Anderson, who remained his loving and faithful wife until the time of his death. He was a member of Glory to Glory Christian until his pastor retired.Nathaniel loved God, food, sports, Christian and jazz music and his family. He loved to joke around and was called Nate and Jellybean by family and friends.Nathaniel is survived by his wife of 23 years Doris B. Anderson, formally of Chattanooga, TN, now of Aurora, CO. His son and daughter in law Daren and Sheri Anderson of Graham, Washington, one sister Janet Canady of Kansas City, MO, one brother James Anderson of Kansas City, MO, one sister-in-law Winnie Anderson of Aurora, CO, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.This celebration is being held in lieu of funeral services; as Nathaniel donated his remains to the State Anatomical Board of the University of Colorado for teaching and research which ends his life of services to others.A Celebration of Life will be held at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E.
