Neil Fitzpatrick

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Neil Fitzpatrick at the age of 82. Neil was a devoted husband, father, educator, mentor, and friend whose kindness, optimism, and warmth touched all who knew him. During a distinguished career spanning more than 40 years, he served as a teacher, vice-principal, and principal, earning the respect and admiration of students, colleagues, and families alike. An avid curler, golfer, cyclist, swimmer, and traveller, Neil embraced life with enthusiasm and gratitude. Above all, he cherished his family and especially treasured time spent with loved ones in Noyan.

Neil is lovingly remembered by his children, Cindy (Grant) and Scott (Natali); his nieces and nephews; and his siblings and in-laws. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol; his son, Matthew; and his sisters, Judy, Doreen, Lee, and Brenda. He is survived by his siblings Jim, Ken, and Lynn. Neil will be remembered for his wisdom, generosity, humour, and unwavering belief in others. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched as a respected educator, loyal friend, and devoted family man. The family extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who has shared their condolences, support, and memories during this difficult time. Neil’s memory will be cherished forever.
