At the Thetford Mines Hospital, on September 7, 2026, after a courageous fight against cancer, at the age of 75 years and 1 month, Mr. Nelson Labranche, husband of Hélène Thibault. He lived in Thetford Mines.
In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his children and grandchildren.
From the Labranche family, he was the son of the late Mathias Labranche and the late Juliette Simoneau, and the brother of: the late Dolorès (the late Raymond Landry), the late Jean-Paul (Chantal Lessard), Réjeanne (the late Marc McDonald), the late Fernand (Pierrette Thibodeau), the late Yvon (the late Pauline Genest), Adrien (Brigitte Isabel), the late Jean-Marc (Ninon Landry), Émile (Louise Brousseau), Danoise (Jocelyn Sylvain), Lucie, the late Yves, and Camille (Annick Paradis).
From the Thibault family, he was the son-in-law of Germain Thibault and Marquise Provost, brother-in-law of: Ann (Claude Fecteau) and Marquis (Nancy Fillion).
He also leaves behind nephews, nieces, and many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, September 18 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, September 19 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, at the Gamache & Nadeau Funeral Center, located at 590, St-Alphonse South, Thetford Mines.
The religious service for Mr. Nelson Labranche will be held on Saturday, September 19 at 10:30 AM at St-Alphonse Church.
