Nicole Potvin, aged 81, passed away on July 16, 2026. She was a beloved mother, partner, grandmother, and friend. She was the daughter of the late Gemma Harvey and Gérard Potvin. Nicole lived in Jonquière and was known for her kindness and warmth.
A celebration of life will be held on July 17, 2026, at 11:00 at the chapel of the 5th Season, Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi. Her family and friends remember her fondly and will miss her dearly. She was cared for by the Maison de soins palliatifs du Saguenay.
Nicole leaves behind her partner Rodrigue Morin, children Daniel Riverin (Lynda Lavoie) and Caroline Riverin (Stéphane Marceau), her grandchildren Léon, Jonathan, Lindsay, Jessica, Miguelly and their spouses, great-grandchildren Océane, Lia, Dylan, Mayson, Mila, Brianna, Rose, Annabelle, and Clémence, her sisters Jeannot Potvin (Robert Boivin) and Édith Potvin (Michel Rouleau), her godchildren Isabelle Rivard, Sophie Rouleau, and Jean-Louis Harvey, as well as many other relatives and friends. The family expresses their gratitude to the staff of the Saguenay Palliative Care Home.
