Olimpia Collazo, 90, of Homestead, Florida, passed peacefully from this life to eternal life in heaven on July 31, 2026.
She was born in 1935 in Santa Clara, Cuba, and had a rich life that included moving to the United States in 1958, building a family in New York, becoming a US citizen in 1970, and later moving to Louisiana and Florida. She was a gifted chef, a dedicated family matriarch, and actively involved in Christian outreach ministries.
Olimpia loved gardening, loved her family deeply, and was committed to her faith and community. Her love and guidance continue to inspire her family and friends.
