Pamela Lynn Pickett

Pamela Lynn Pickett, 77, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away on June 6, 2026.She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Dennis "Denny" C. Pickett and her parents, Paul Hendricks and Ellen Miller Lynn of Richmond, Virginia.Pamela earned her master’s degree in early childhood education and had a lifelong passion for teaching kindergarten and first grade children. After retirement, she enjoyed knitting (many baby blankets), handicrafts, reading and jigsaw puzzles, astrology (moon watching), and volunteering at FISH (the local clothing/food pantry).What made her happiest were her family and friends, gardening, bird watching and butterflies.She is survived by her sister, Lynn-Marie Colizza (John); nephew, Chris (Liz); grandnephew, Corban; and grandnieces, Eleanora and Willow; her sister, Paula Ellen Lynn; nephew, Bryce Williams (Taylor); grandniece, Logan; niece, Addie Williams; her brother-in-law, Jim Pickett (Janet); niece, Renee Ferrera (Ryan); grandnephew, Aidan; and grandniece, Kiera; niece, Stephanie Baker (Dan); and grandnieces, Ayana and Kayla; her sister-in-law, MaryAnn Tanaka (Glen); nephew, Arin Downs; and nephew, Sean Downs (Danielle); grandnephew, Grizzly; her sister-in-law, Irma Pickett; niece, Michele Pickett; grandnephews, Logan and Michael; nephew, Chris Pickett (Tamra); and grandnephews, Jackson, Carter, and Mason.She also treasured and deeply loved her pets: Clancy, Murphy, Miss Molly, D'Arcy, Ballou and Tischer.A celebration of life will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Humane Society, 430 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188.
