Patricia Wood Albright, age 88, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away September 28, 2026.
Born in Leeds, Alabama on March 11, 1938, to William Wyatt Wood and Evelyn Chandler Nickerson. Pat moved to Columbus as a young child and attended local schools in Muscogee County. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1956 and attended Auburn University. In 1958, she married Glenn Kyle Albright, Jr., and they shared a wonderful 68 years surrounded by their family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn; three children, Allison Coleman and her husband. Jerry, Glenn Albright III and his wife, Tamara, and Beth Pyron and her husband, Ward; ten grandchildren, Jerry Coleman, Trammell Coleman (Molly), Patrick Coleman (Lauren), Glenn Coleman, Kyle Albright (Mary Nell), Mattie Albright, Andrew Albright, Chandler Bordelon (Andrew), Shelby Pyron, and William Pyron; eight great grandchildren.
The family has requested that donations be made to the Albright Bridal Room Fund at St. Luke Church in memory of Mrs. Albright.
The Albright family will be receiving visitors from 5:00PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 30, 2026 and Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the home of Allsion and Jerry Coleman, 2867 Techwood Drive, Columbus, GA 31906.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at St. Luke Church, 1104 2nd Ave Columbus, Ga 31901, US, on October 2, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am
A Funeral Service will take place at St. Luke Church, 1104 2nd Ave Columbus, Ga 31901, US, on October 2, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am.
