Patrick Edward McGrattan, age 70, passed on August 20, 2026, at Mary Washington Hospital.He was born June 3, 1956, in Long Island, New York, son of the late Edward McGrattan and Georgette McGrattan.He was very loved by his granddaughter Kayla and great granddaughter Helen he was very funny and out going and was always there for you when needed he had his own nicknames for every person he will be forever missed and forever loved and one of his saying was I love you forever and always and that will never change.He is preceded in death by his parents; ex wife, Linda; daughter, Kim Strong; siblings, Maureen McGrattan and Dennis McGrattan.He is survived by siblings, Ronald McGrattan, Timothy McGrattan(Sandy), Daniel McGrattan, Michael McGrattan, Thomas McGrattan, Edward McGrattan(Patricia), Julia Morrison(Mario), and James McGrattan(Joan); granddaughter, Kayla Srong(Brian); great-granddaughter, Helen Richard; nieces and nephews, Jacob McGrattan, Richard Eberhardt, Kevin Eberhardt, Timothy McGrattan, Tara McGrattan, Stephanie McGrattan, Sara McGrattan, Jennifer McGrattan, Peter McGrattan, Katelyn Morrison, Jonathan Morrison, Georgette Morales, James McGrattan, and Ryan McGrattan; son-in-law, Stan Strong(Anne) and their child Nicole Strong.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg VA 22401.
