Paul "Pete" Daniel Glaus Jr.

May 14, 2026 Dignity Memorial

Paul “Pete” Glaus Jr, age 62, of Sikeston MO passed away at his home on May 14, 2026.

He was born on June 16, 1963, in Sikeston, MO to the late Paul Glaus Sr and Glenda McClellan Glaus.

He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Sherri (Crosier) Glaus, two children, Paul & Jacqueline Glaus of Sikeston and Tori & Devin Wallace of Morley. Five grandchildren, Luke and Owen Glaus, Gunner, Waylon and Sophia Wallace. One brother Chris (April) Glaus, one sister Theresa (David) Smith of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul & Glenda (McClellan) Glaus, and one sister Rebecca Glaus.

He was a hardworking man, and no job was too big to undertake. Many times, things seemed impossible but somehow, he turned them into possible. This was how he viewed life in general; you can only succeed if you are willing to work hard and never give up.

When he was first diagnosed with cancer, he was given less than a year. In true fashion he fought this hard and became our miracle man. Each time there was an impossible hurdle; he turned it into possible, surviving six years more than expected.

He enjoyed many things, an avid hunter and fisherman. Many of us have stories of unbelievable hunts, or fishing events, but the greatest gift was experiencing successes for the first time with his kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews.

He loved cooking and sharing that love with family, friends, neighbors and community events. He never met a stranger, and he had the ability to strike up a conversation with strangers and make new friends wherever he went. Whether it was sharing the secret to making the best BBQ, creamiest cheesecake, or sharing life experiences, he enjoyed talking to everyone.

Pete leaves behind a legacy of hard work, perseverance and unwavering love for all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
