The family of PIERRETTE GENEST announces her death that occurred on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in Montreal at the age of 86 years. She was the wife of the late Réal Genest.
She leaves behind her daughter Sylvie (Yves), her grandchildren Dominic (Sophie) and Mélanie (Mathieu), her great-grandchildren Evelyne, Rose, Isabelle, and Gabriel, her sister Micheline, her partner of the last eight years Yvon, her nephews and nieces, and many relatives and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex located at 10300 Boul. Pie-Ix in Montreal, H1H 3Z1, on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm. The funeral will be celebrated the same day at 4 pm in the complex's chapel.
The family wishes to thank all the staff of the palliative care unit at Pavillon Poisant for their support and quality care.
