It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and uncle, Mr. Ralph Zachary. After a brief illness, he passed on to Sky World surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents John Zachary & Hazel Skye, his brothers Arthur & Ronnie along with his sister-in-law Shirley Zachary.
His siblings left to mourn; Marlene, Wayne, Kevin (Laurie), Karen (Johnny), and Louis, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins (especially Arlene) & his sisters-in-law Laura, Martina, and Natalie.
Everyone knew Ralph for his love of sports, he was a devoted Yankee and Ranger fan; he loved to talk about sports to anyone who would listen. He also enjoyed his caddying days at Kanawaki.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the staff of short-term care at KMHC, Kahnawake Fire Brigade for their dedicated ambulance service, along with the staff and friends near and dear to him at the Turtle Bay Elders Lodge.
He has been entrusted to Poissant’s and Deer Funeral Parlor; visitation will begin on Saturday, August 1 at 12:00 p.m. with a service in the parlor on Sunday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the Protestant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kahnawake Fire Brigade.
