It is with sadness that we announce the death of Réjean Martel on June 21, 2026, at the age of 72. He was the husband of the late Christine Martel and the son of the late Conrad Martel and Lydia Tassé.
He leaves behind his children Karine (Jeremy), Mario (Caroline), and Anny (Alexandre), his grandchildren Mya, Zackary, Lily-Anna, Anaëlle, Raphaël, Amy, and Katia. He also leaves his brothers Raymond and Rémi, his sisters Noëlla and Thérèse, as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Réjean was a simple, authentic man deeply attached to his family. Those who knew him will remember his kindness, sense of humor, and all his anecdotes. The many moments shared with him will continue to live in the hearts of all who loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Cooperative Funeral of Outaouais located at 750, boulevard Maloney East in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences from 9:15 a.m.
