Ricardo "Vichy" R. Tellez passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at the age of 92; born on May 13, 1934 to his parents Roberto Tellez and Theresa Terrazas Tellez. Vichy, a beloved husband, daddy, grandpa, and uncle has gone home to be with the Lord in Heaven.
Vichy was preceded in death by his siblings Tony Tellez, Eduviges Tellez Lowe and Lucy Tellez Zulouga as well as her sons Louie and Rudy.
He is survived by his wife Gloria Cecilia Marqueyda Tellez; his children Lucy Evangeline Tellez, Yvonna Tellez Romero, Rick R. Tellez, and David Tellez; his grandchildren Michelle Romero, Michael Romero, Anthony Tellez, Andrea Tellez, Andrew Tellez, Alysa Tellez, Brianna Tellez, David Tellez Jr., and Stephen Tellez; his great-grandchildren Jacob and Ava Rae Tellez; and his nieces and nephews Mark Tellez, Alfred, Robert, Edward, Rebecca, and Elizabeth Lowe.
