Richard Eugene Homan, 52, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on June 26, 2026, at Bergen Mercy Hospital, surrounded by his loving daughters and grandsons.
Richard was a devoted father and grandfather who found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He especially cherished moments with his grandsons, Enzo and Zain. He was an avid sports fan and could often be found cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team and the Washington Capitals hockey team.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Alexandria Homan and Marissa (Andrew) Hixson, both of Omaha, Nebraska; and his beloved grandsons, Enzo and Zain. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Eugene Homan of Omaha, Nebraska.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 5410 Corby St. on Monday, July 6th from 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Alexandria and Marissa.
