Richard Harry Wagenleitner was born on February 20, 1940, in Fresno, California, to Edward Wagenleitner and Mary Louise Hervey.
Richard was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was extremely kind and caring and he will be dearly missed by all. He made the world a better place through the many small actions he took throughout his life: every joke he told that lifted a person’s spirits, every phone call he made to check in on someone, and every gift he gave anonymously.
Richard is survived by sons John (Vu) Wagenleitner; and Peter (Gina) Wagenleitner; granddaughters Angelina Wagenleitner and Amelia Wagenleitner; and sister Linda.
Richard is predeceased by wife, Barbara Wagenleitner, and sister Nancy.
A Memorial Service will be held at Fresno Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2980 E Yale Avenue, Fresno, CA 93703, on August 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.A Committal Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706, on August 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
