He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years of marriage; his daughters, Violet Cody and Gloria Garcia and husband Mike Nanez; his cherished grandchildren, Christian Castillo and London Nanez; and many beloved siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. His family was the center of his world and the greatest joy of his life.

Known for his larger-than-life personality, warm spirit, and ability to make everyone feel welcome, Richard leaves behind a vast circle of family, friends, coworkers, and church members who loved him deeply. His presence could light up a room, and his kindness, humor, generosity, and strength will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, the memories he created and the lives he touched will continue to live on. His legacy of faith, love, service, and compassion will never be forgotten.
