Richard Taylor Williams Jr.

Richard (Rick) Williams, Jr., 65, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Rick was born in Mount Kisco, NY, to Richard (Dick) and Julie (Lay) Williams, Sr. He grew up in Bedford, NY, where he was involved in the Boy Scouts, volunteer work, and politics. He also loved spending time with his maternal grandparents in Conroe, TX. After graduating high school and trade school, he worked for the New York-branch Southland Corporation in various positions.

In the early 1990's, Rick transferred to the Dallas-branch Southland Corporation. In 1992, he met his future wife, Terri. They married on June 11, 1994, and settled in Fort Worth. Their first son, Paul, was born in 1995. Their second son, Matthew, was born in 1998. During his life, Rick worked in various fields, including office jobs, printing, and food services.

Rick enjoyed volunteering for Susan B. Komen as he was a male breast cancer survivor. He also enjoyed watching his NY Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys, watching the NY Mets and the Texas Rangers, and spending time with friends and family.

Rick is survived by his wife, Terri, of 31 years, sons, Paul and Matthew Williams of Fort Worth, mother, Julie Williams of Evanston, IL, sister, Sherry Williams of Copake, NY, brother, David (Jen) Williams of Evanston, IL, and sister, Julie (Frank) Micone of Fallbrook, CA. He is also survived by other family members, including cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard (Dick) Williams, Sr., and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
