Richard Thibault, aged 95 years and 2 months, passed away at Notre-Dame-du-Lac Hospital on June 17, 2026. He was the husband of the late Rolande Royer and son of the late Marie-Anne Marchand and Phylias Thibault. He resided in Pohénégamook (Quartier Estcourt), Témiscouata. Richard was the father of the deceased Danielle, Johanne, Raymond, Charles, and Gilles. He leaves behind grandchildren Joëlle, François, Catherine, Maude, Mégan, Alexia; great-grandchildren Florence, Tom, Romie, Emma-Rose; sister Yvette (late Clément Cloutier); as well as nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members, and friends. Condolences can be sent through a donation to the Fondation de la santé du Témiscouata. The funeral services were managed by Maison funéraire JP Morin, located at 491, rue Monette, Pohénégamook, Quebec.
