Robert Jr. Barnes, who suddenly passed away on June 22 at the CIUSSS de Memphrémagog, at the age of 74 and a half. He lived almost all his life in Cookshire-Eaton.
There will be no viewing, in accordance with his final wishes. The interment of his ashes, accompanied by prayers, will take place at the Sainte-Camille Cemetery in Cookshire-Eaton at a later date.
He is survived by: Ellen (late Raymond Blouin), Alice, Daisy (late Pierre Fortier), William (Christiane D’Anjou), the late Ross (Pam Dowd Barnes), Maisie (late Daniel Bouthot), Shannon, his aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and his friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Accueil Notre Dame in Magog and Résidence Manoir Eau-Vive in Cookshire-Eaton for the excellent care provided to Mr. Barnes during his stays. Any expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of a donation to a charity of choice.
