Robert Lee “Bobby” Bowden, 80, of Semmes, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
He was born on August 9, 1945, to James and Cora Bowden. Bobby was a dedicated worker, loving family man, and a lover of classic cars and simple pleasures. He retired after 36 years from Teledyne Continental Motors, where he was a Senior Millwright. Bobby was known for his work ethic, kindness, and taking care of those around him. He loved his family deeply, building lasting traditions and making sure they knew he loved them.
He is survived by his wife Judy, daughters Michelle, Belinda, and Amelia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends. His legacy is one of love, service, and dependability. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on July 25, 2026, at West Mobile Baptist Church.
