Robert Wayne “Bobby” Elisar was born on August, 24, 1946 and peacefully passed away on May 29, 2026. He was a lifelong resident of Prairieville, a graduate of Dutchtown and a Local 198 pipefitter.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Malvina “Vennie” Melancon Elisar; his mother, Ruth B. Elisar; his daughters, Sheree E. Mire (Kurt) and Leslie E. Templet (Boyd); his granddaughters, Chanie M. Turner (Brandon), Madison M. Durbin (Grant), Jordan T. Stewart (Logan), and Sydney T. Guedry (Dayton); his great-grandchildren, Bradie and Carson Turner, Cohen Stewart and Durbin twins on the way; and his sister, Lisa Rangeley. He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn G. Elisar and his infant granddaughter, Kate Turner.
A private graveside service will be held for immediate family.
