It is with sadness that we inform you of the death of Mr. Roland Chénier who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 95. He was the husband of the late Lorraine Plouffe and the son of the late Delphis Chénier and the late Cordélia Patry.
He leaves behind his son Alain (Diane Presseault), his grandchildren Éric (Valérie Dubois), Christine (John Chrescenzy) and Marc (Stéphany Jolicœur), his great-grandchildren Maude, Malik, Maély, Nolan, Alycia and Maddok. He also leaves his sister Claudette (the late Hervé Wolfe) as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Lyne (Gerry McAllister) and his brothers and sisters René, Noël, Jean-Guy, Léo, Rosa, Jeannine and Jeanne.
A celebration of his life will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 10 am at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 750, boulevard Maloney Est in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences from 9 am.
