Ronald Joseph Yalch Sr., age 78, of Northport, Alabama (originally from Berwick, Pennsylvania) passed away Monday, September 28, 2026, at DCH Regional.
Ron was a US Air Force veteran. He was living a quiet, retired life playing golf every chance he got.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Jo Ann Yalch; his parents, Michael Yalch, Sr. and Jenny Yalch and brother, Michael Yalch, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Price (Jeff) and son, Ronald Yalch, Jr. (Angela); granddaughters, Kimber Jo Ann Price and Courtney Elizabeth Yalch; step-grandchildren, Roger and Abby Rominski; sister, Joanne Boyle (Mike) and younger brother, John Yalch (Dawn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Ronald will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at Sunset Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow at the home of Mr. Yalch at 12607 Hickory Dr, Northport, AL 35475.
